New Thursby Nursing Care Home is a professional healthcare outfit located between Blackpool and Lytham St. Annes on Lancashire’s Fylde Coast. Part of Century Healthcare, this care home offers outstanding care to older residents and those suffering from dementia.
Century Healthcare was one of Barons Furniture’s very first customers and between us, we have maintained great loyalty over the years. That’s why when New Thursby Nursing Care Home’s communal lounge needed refurbishment, they turned to Barons to provide the furniture.

Project Details
Century Healthcare’s Lorraine Matta organised a meeting with Barons to discuss the requirements of the renovation. The client then chose their fabric and wood options and the whole order was placed within 2 days!
The new furniture for the main lounge included our contemporary Vogue range in a variety of warm upholstery colours. These swatch choices – paired with a sophisticated light oak wood finish – give the refurbished living room and light and summery feel. This resulted in a beautiful space.

Lorraine was very happy with our service and said, ‘the furniture was delivered by Barons’ trained staff on time and with no issues.’
