Cheadle Grange Care Home, Stockport
We will take a look at a collaboration with North Bay Developments at Cheadle Grange Care Home in Stockport. This new, all-electric residential area has sustainability and wellbeing at its core, featuring a range of sustainable technologies such as heat pumps and solar PV panels. The 75-bedroom home also has beautiful facilities, including serene gardens, an elegant bistro café, and even a cinema room, providing residents with a truly luxurious and relaxing environment.
Barons proudly worked alongside interior designer Hiedi Lazenby to provide a fantastic range of contract-grade furniture items, with each one being carefully selected to make sure it complemented the home’s interiors and met the needs of the residents.

Project Details
This new care home was centred around luxurious living for elderly residents, which meant that it needed deluxe, high-quality furniture to match. Barons provided items for many rooms, including:
- Bedrooms.
- Reception area.
- First floor dining area/lounge.
- Second floor dining area/lounge.
- Cinema room.
- Hair salon.
For the bedrooms, Barons supplied Lancaster High-Back Chairs in a variety of elegant Panaz and ILIV fabrics, along with Antonia Chairs which were upholstered in coordinating tones. Further additions from the Buxton Range, including double wardrobes, dressing tables, and bedside drawers, offered outstanding performance without compromising on style.
We also provided items for the reception and dining/lounge areas. For the reception, a bespoke button-back bench seat in ILIV Saddle Stone and Panaz Ravello Navy Mocha was selected to set a warm, inviting tone, which was further enhanced with a Primo Square Dining Table in Ash Walnut. The dining/lounge areas were graced with Jordan, Hannah, and Lexus High-Back Chairs, which came in calming palettes. Hayden footstools and Harlow Rectangular Coffee Tables added the finishing touches, creating comfortable, homely communal spaces.
The cinema room was carefully put together to provide an immersive, comfortable experience. Special Florentina and Bexley Chairs were upholstered in luxurious Skopos Mila Talavera and ILIV Lismore Mist fabrics. Bespoke wall panels and matching Francesca footstools completed the room. In the hair salon, Nico tub chairs in warm chestnut paired with Stylo Coffee Tables created a stunning and functional setting for pampering and relaxation.
