Located in Inverness, Pittyvaich Care Home is one of the newest additions to the Parklands Group, a provider known for its commitment to high-quality care and beautifully designed environments. This facility, which opened in 2025, combines modern comfort with stunning surroundings and has already received national recognition, being named “Care Home of the Month” in September’s Care Home Magazine.
Barons was proud to collaborate on this project with Sally Spiers from Crush Interiors, supplying a range of contract-grade furniture across the entire building, including the bedrooms, sunrooms, foyer, and café area. These items were carefully chosen to support the care home’s high standards and meet the needs of the residents.

Project Details
Our goal was to create a contemporary, luxurious environment that was tailored to elderly residents, offering performance and visual appeal in every room. For the bedrooms, Barons provided Newbury Profiling Bed Sides in a Pippy Oak wood shade, which were designed with safety in mind. Accompanying them was a selection of Light Oak Orleans Gents Wardrobes and 4 Drawer Chests, which enhanced convenience and complemented the traditional charm of the Newbury Bed Sides.
The lounge and dining areas also needed to be welcoming and comfortable. To achieve this, Barons furnished them with Bexley High and Mid Back Chairs, featuring fabrics such as Panaz Highland Heritage Blue and ILIV Burghley Slate Blue to create a homely feel. Noah Dining Chairs were also provided, along with Norway Rectangular Coffee Tables and Primo Circular Dining Tables, all of which were finished in Light Oak.
Barons supplied furniture for the café area and sunrooms, as well, to encourage relaxation and social interaction. The café was provided with Zoe Tub Chairs which were matched with Apollo Gold Circular Dining Tables and a Bespoke Cannes Cube Unit in Stone Grey. For the sunrooms, more Bexley chairs and Norway coffee tables were supplied to create a cohesive design across the entire care home.
Even the Foyer received new high-quality furniture, including Olivia Footstools which were upholstered in ILIV Burghley Chalk Blue, along with Capri Side Tables. This combination offered a soft colour palette, promoting a peaceful entry point for both residents and visitors. Finally, Barons furnished the activity room, helping complete a full-scale fit-out that ensured that the entire care home was full of comfortable seating for rest and social engagement.
