Barons is thrilled to announce a meaningful new partnership with One Fylde, a charity full of compassion along with a commitment to providing person-centred support. We’ve taken the opportunity to donate over 100 items, including armchairs, dining chairs, tables, and a diverse selection of fabric materials. The furniture was made in the UK by our skilled team, and it’s their dedication and expertise that allow us to provide reliable solutions across various sectors, as well as support wider communities.

Supporting a Worthy Cause

One Fylde provides support, accommodation, and activities for adults with learning disabilities and autism across the Fylde coast. With their work aligning closely with our own values of care, quality, and community, donating comfortable and practical furniture items was an easy decision and one we passionately followed through with. Garry Smith, our Managing Director, said:

Choosing One Fylde as a beneficiary felt like a natural fit, as their values align closely with our own. We hope this donation helps create warm, comfortable spaces where people feel safe, valued, and at home.”

Representatives, along with some of the individuals they support, visited our site to test and approve the items, and this allowed them to experience the quality firsthand and make sure that they could match their preferences and needs. The donated items will be now used across a number of One Fylde’s supported living homes to create more comfortable, personalised environments for their tenants. From cosy armchairs in living rooms to furnishing the new 'cosy corner' at the Heart of the HUB community café, we’re confident this furniture will make a real difference in their everyday lives. Plus, some of the fabric we provided will support One Fylde’s Arts & Crafts sessions, helping to fuel creativity and engagement through hands-on projects, meaning we’re not only providing tenants with lasting comfort but also extra opportunities for enrichment and socialising.
