With a new year now underway, it’s a great time to look back on what has been an exciting, fast-paced, and truly rewarding 2025 for everyone at Barons. Throughout the past twelve months, we continued to focus on our core mission: building high-quality, UK-made furniture that enhances the performance, appearance, and atmosphere of contract environments across the UK.

However, last year also involved more than just making great furniture. We deepened existing partnerships, built new ones, expanded our team, and gained recognition across several key frameworks. Alongside our operational achievements, we also took steps to support our people and invest in wellbeing, as we believe this is just as important as business success. From exclusive supplier agreements and strategic collaborations to conference appearances and showroom launches, 2025 has been a year full of progress, passion, and purpose, and here’s a closer look at the highlights that made it so memorable.

Partnering with Our Trusted Fabric Suppliers

In 2025, we worked closely with long-standing partners like Panaz and Skopos to launch an exciting range of new fabrics. These collaborations allowed us to keep offering high-performance upholstered furniture that can meet the practical demands of busy environments whilst also giving people an even greater selection of high-quality fabrics to choose from.

Attended Caring UK Conferences Across the UK

Barons was proud to attend Caring UK Conferences across the country. These events have been brilliant opportunities to connect with care professionals, showcase our products, and remain attentive to the evolving needs of the care sector.

Attended the Devon Care Homes Collaborative Annual Conference

One of the standout events of 2025 for Barons was the Devon Care Homes Collaborative Annual Conference. Held in South West England, it brought together various industry stakeholders and dedicated care providers. We thoroughly enjoyed sharing ideas and discussing how quality furniture can continue to support better living environments for residents.

ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 Recertification Achieved

Quality and environmental responsibility are key focuses of Barons, and in 2025, we were proud to secure recertification for both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. These internationally recognised standards indicate our ongoing commitment to excellence in manufacturing and environmental performance.

Secured a Place on the YPO Framework for Residential Care Furniture

Another exciting achievement involved being awarded a place on the YPO Framework for Residential Care Furniture. This enables even more care providers to access our trusted furniture solutions through a widely respected public sector procurement route.

Awarded Sole Supplier Agreement with Anchor

In a major milestone for Barons, we secured a sole supplier agreement with Anchor, the largest provider of care and specialist housing for older people in England. This exclusive partnership highlights the trust and confidence placed in our ability to deliver consistent, high-quality furniture that supports the comfort and wellbeing of residents across Anchor’s services.

Partnered with The Curve Group for HR Support

As part of our investment in our people, we welcomed The Curve Group as our HR partner in 2025. Their support will help us attract new talent and support the development of our team as we continue to grow.

Awarded a Spot on the Procurement Hub’s Furniture & Furnishings Framework

Barons was also thrilled to be awarded a place on the new Procurement Hub framework for furniture and furnishings. This achievement gives even more organisations access to our furniture, helping make our high-quality care furniture highly accessible.

Attended the CIUK Next Generation Awards & Annual Luncheon

In 2025, we also attended the CIUK Next Generation Awards and the Annual Luncheon. These events celebrate innovation and up-and-coming talent within the industry, and being surrounded by such dedication and creativity was truly inspiring.

Free NHS Health Checks Offered to All Staff

Wellbeing will always be a top priority for us at Barons, and in 2025, we were proud to offer free NHS health checks to all employees. This initiative gave our team access to valuable health insights in a supportive and convenient setting, reinforcing our commitment to creating a healthy and positive workplace culture.

Official Launch of Our Leyland Showroom

Yet another proud moment was the official launch of our showroom in Leyland. This new environment has given us a dedicated setting to showcase our furniture, host clients, and demonstrate the thought, craftsmanship, and care that goes into the furniture we produce.

Welcomed 20 New Team Members to Support Growth

Finally, in 2025, our team grew significantly, with 20 new colleagues joining Barons. As demand continues to grow, these additions will help us meet the needs of customers, as well as bring new ideas, energy, and expertise.

Another Year of Achievement

2025 has been a year full of progress, partnerships, and people. Every milestone we’ve met has helped shape our future and reinforce our position as a trusted, high-quality furniture manufacturer for contract settings across the UK, and we want to say a huge thank you to our partners, clients, and team for making it all possible. We’re excited to build on the momentum of last year, continuing to innovate, support our clients, and build furniture that makes a meaningful difference.
