On 29th September, Barons Furniture hosted a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The Macmillan Coffee Morning is an enormous annual event aimed at raising awareness and much-needed funds for the wonderful charity.
Macmillan nurses provide invaluable support to those living with cancer, as well as to those close to them. As a charity, Macmillan receives no government funding and fundraisers like the national Coffee Morning allows its nurses and other staff to help those in need.
And who could forget about the cake!
This event is all about getting together to have a cuppa, a cake and a chat in aid of a great cause.
In 2016, the Macmillan Coffee Morning initiative raised a huge £29.5 million towards the charity’s projects. We’re proud to be doing our bit and hopefully, this year’s event has been even more successful.

We hosted our Macmillan Coffee Morning in our showroom where we met with local customers, suppliers, friends and neighbours. We all had a great time and - more importantly – we raised such much-needed funds for Macmillan!
