Judith Joyce Judith Joyce

Role: Sales Office Manager

Judith supports the Managing Director, Management Team, and the Sales and Marketing functions. Judith loves working with customers and suppliers and supports the sales and marketing teams to ensure we meet customers’ expectations.

Outside of work, Judith likes to spend time with friends and family, as well as going for walks.

Fun Fact: I love to spend time at our caravan in the Lake District”

Justine Gaunt Nelson - Compliance Manager - Barons Justine Gaunt Nelson

Role: Compliance Manager

Justine covers H&S, ISO, KPI’s & Marketing, and enjoys being involved marketing.

In her spare time, Justine enjoys gigs/music festivals, socialising, and taking her dog out for a walk.

Fun Fact: I was a professional campanologist in a previous life”

Values: integrity and open-mindedness

Melissa Biddlestone Melissa Biddlestone

Role: Key Account Manager

Melissa project manages all key accounts, ensuring client requirements are met. She processes quotes and orders to customer specifications, and visits sites at the build stage to check that the items quoted meet the needs of the end user. Melissa enjoys being involved in large projects from start to finish, building relationships with key clients.

In her free time, Melissa loves hanging out with friends with a glass of prosecco in hand.

Fun Fact: “I am a huge foodie and love eating out at any opportunity I can”

Emma Slinger Emma Slinger

Role: Sales & Marketing Assistant

Emma has worked at Barons for 8 years. She has worked with many of Barons customers over that time and is now the main contact for all things soft furnishing related. She is also involved in the marketing and following up quotes with our customers. Emma’s favourite aspect of her role is being able to work with the sales team.

She also likes to spend time with her husband and two children when not at work.

Fun Fact: “I’m 35 and have only just got my ears pierced for the first time”

Alex Thompson Alex Thompson

Role: Business Development Team Leader

Alex has been working at Barons for over 15 years and has gained a lot of experience in the healthcare and senior living sectors. He helps to lead a great team of experts who understand customer requirements and offer solutions for communal areas and bedrooms, from small projects to large turnkey new builds. Alex also books out our free, unique display van service.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys football (is a big Man United fan!), loves horror films, running, and walking his dog.

Fun Fact: “I was once the top of an organised six-man human pyramid on holiday in Barcelona, there was sangria involved”

Lauren Hull Lauren Hull

Role: Sales Administrator

At work, Lauren enjoys meeting with our fabric suppliers and seeing the new ranges they are launching.

Lauren likes to spend time with friends and travelling, which she will take more advantage of when she’s finally finished her degree.

Fun Fact: “I used to be an au pair in New Jersey, USA, and I would spend my weekends in New York City”

Hollie Buckley Hollie Buckley

Role: Sales Admin

Hollie’s favourite part of her job is creating mood boards for clients.

Outside of work, Hollie enjoys shopping and travelling.

Fun Fact: “I have over 100 pairs of shoes”

Bailey Dalton Bailey Dalton

Role: Sales Team Leader

Bailey looks after our sales managers' key accounts to make sure our customers’ experience is as smooth as possible, from initial enquiry to site delivery. Bailey also provides support and guidance to the admin team, training the girls on systems, products, and helping them when needed.

At work, Bailey’s favourite aspect is attending site deliveries of some of our key accounts. She enjoys seeing the full process from the initial client idea through to the chairs being put in and the accessories being placed. “It’s even better when I run into residents that are extremely happy with their new furniture, plus it’s a workout I’m paid to do, my upper body strength has never been so good!”

When not at work, Bailey renovates a very uncooperative expensive house and is single-handedly keeping the Caulk and Polyfilla industry alive!

Fun Fact: “I was in the top 1% of Abba listeners on Spotify”

Values: Kindness and honesty.

Barbara Barbara

Role: Business Development Co-Ordinator

Barbara liaises with existing and new customers to get the ASM in front of their business or organisation to discuss furniture requirements. She enjoys building rapport with the customers for continued business orders.

In her free time, Barbara likes shopping, socialising with friends and family, and attending theatre shows.

Fun Fact: “I like to think I am a ‘Hostess with the Mostest’”
