Anti-Microbial Fabrics
At Barons, we use superbug resistant Hygienilac spray routinely on all our upholstered furniture frames and on the edgings of our cabinet furniture.
Anti-microbial Hygienilac is non-toxic and toy safe. Selected by Barons because of its rigorous testing and approval by the FDA, HSE EPA, it is BS6250 certified for severed usage and complies with BS EN 71.3. It has been tested by Bodycote Lawlabs and repeatedly been proved to be overwhelmingly effective against a range of bacteria, and by FDAS against C difficile. Hygienilac lacquer has received a point 3 award from the NHS Infection Control Rapid Review Panel (Surface Coating Category).
Quite simply, it kills superbugs. In fact, it is proven to kill 99.9% of almost all species of bacteria, including the deadly MRSA, Salmonella and E. coli, and goes on killing them for the lifetime of the additive for up to ten years.

Fire Retardant Fabrics
All our upholstery fabrics and soft furnishings are fire retardant and fully compliant with current fire safety regulations. Offering peace of mind and ensuring your furniture and interiors not only look fantastic but are also as safe as possible.
Inherently flame retardant, our selected fabrics ranges are treated to meet the British standards (BS5867 Part 2 Type B). This means that under test conditions, they neither catch alight too swiftly nor shed any flaming debris.

Water Resistant, Easy Clean & Care Fabrics
